Silkie chickens are a unique and popular breed known for their distinctive appearance and friendly nature. Silkies have fluffy, soft feathers that feel more like fur, which gives them a really special cuddly appearance. Being so soft combined with their gentle, friendly, and calm nature makes them incredibly appealing for children and Silkie Chickens make the most adorable pets.

We sell cute and fluffy Bearded Silkie Chickens in many colours, including black, blue, cuckoo, gold partridge, silver white, red and porcelain. Silkie hens lay small cream-coloured eggs and around 100 – 120 per year.
