Compatible chickens ensure a peaceful, healthy environment for growth and productivity.

Good With Most

This indicates that this breed will be suited with most other breeds, some breeds may be more delicate and not suited to being placed with larger or more aggressive breeds and some may be fine in smaller flocks but can bully more delicate breeds if in greater number.

Bomb Proof

This indicates that this breed can handle pretty much anything, they will be confident, strong and robust, they will usually have a calm nature but will not be easily bullied, however, due to their docile nature don’t put them in a flock where they are heavily outnumbered by Hybrids.

Handle With Care

This indicates that this breed, although not hard to care for is delicate and not suited in large flocks of rangy or aggressive breeds, they will be happier in a flock of gentle breeds or breeds labelled Good With Most, avoid mixing with Hybrids and they will usually be better in their breed pairs.

Make Great Pets

This indicates that this breed make wonderful pets for both adults and children, they will have a docile nature and will be easy to handle, they will enjoy human interaction and company, they will be easy to handle and ideal for back garden set ups.
